the beginning of his career, his family took a negative response to his
work. They thought Liu Ting-Tsuan didn't engage in a proper work. Actually,
Liu Ting-Tsuan takes care of his family very well; he always does his
creations in his free time. However, he can't avoid making noise that
disturbs his family. From a mechanic, farmerˇK to becoming a sculptor,
Liu Ting-Tsuan has never given up. Liu Ting-Tsuan knows it is very difficult
to earn a living through art but art can be left forever. ˇ@ In his opinion, industrial culture has already been eliminated through competition. However, what earlier men left us is cultural heritage. If a country is without culture, it cannot express the character of the nation. Also, people won't have a strongly unifying force with their country. Therefore, spreading the culture is so important, and the beautiful works of art can interlink all the people in the globe. ˇ@To be a well-known artist is not as easy as we think. We really need to change our surrounding. Also, we need to study and probe into the advantages and cultures in the other countries. We cannot only see the exterior of others' works; what we need is to deeply study the interior. For example, some people urgent to express themselves, but it's just like a rotten interior beneath a fine exterior. ˇ@"Never give up" is the most important belief of Liu Ting-Tsuan. He thinks that anybody cando something worthwhile. Although those things may not become a big deal, they also can become a special and unforgettable experience. The young people can learn a lot from the experience of Liu Ting-Tsuan. |
